Which staffing companies sponsor F-1 STEM OPT visas in Colorado?
Staffing firms with a history of F-1 STEM OPT placements in Colorado include Insight Global, TEKsystems, Apex Group, and Experis. These agencies regularly place technical contractors in roles across Denver and Boulder's aerospace, software, and engineering sectors. Because sponsorship policies vary by branch and role type, it's worth confirming F-1 STEM OPT support directly with the recruiter before applying.
Which cities in Colorado have the most staffing F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of staffing F-1 STEM OPT opportunities in Colorado, driven by its concentration of technology, aerospace, and professional services employers. Boulder follows closely, particularly for software and clean energy contract roles. Colorado Springs sees demand in defense and cybersecurity contracting. Smaller markets like Fort Collins and Aurora have growing technology corridors with staffing agency presence.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship?
Roles that qualify for F-1 STEM OPT through staffing firms must fall under an eligible STEM STEM degree classification, which you can verify using O*NET. In Colorado, qualifying placements commonly include software developer, data analyst, systems engineer, and IT project manager positions. The role must be directly related to your degree field, and the staffing agency acts as the STEM OPT employer of record, filing the required E-Verify enrollment and training plan with your DSO.
How do I find staffing F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters staffing jobs in Colorado by F-1 STEM OPT eligibility, showing you which agencies have active placements that match your visa authorization. Because staffing firms often post roles without specifying sponsorship details upfront, using Migrate Mate helps you identify verified opportunities in Colorado's Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs markets before reaching out to a recruiter.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for F-1 STEM OPT in the staffing industry?
Colorado requires staffing agencies to comply with state wage transparency laws, meaning posted roles typically include compensation ranges, which can help you assess whether an offer meets the prevailing wage standard required under STEM OPT. Colorado's active E-Verify compliance environment also means most mid-size and large staffing agencies in the state already have E-Verify enrollment in place, a prerequisite for any STEM OPT extension placement.
