Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for solutions architects?
Arrow Electronics (Centennial), Ping Identity (Denver), Palantir (Denver), and Lockheed Martin (Littleton) are among the Colorado employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for solutions architect roles. Large cloud and managed services providers operating in Denver also file LCAs regularly for this title. Sponsorship patterns vary by company size and hiring cycle, so checking recent LCA filings on the DOL disclosure database gives the most current picture.
Which visa types are most common for solutions architect roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for solutions architects in Colorado, as the role consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1B intracompany transferee status or O-1 visa classification occasionally fill these roles too. Australian citizens have the additional option of the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is widely used for tech roles in Denver.
Which cities in Colorado have the most solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of solutions architect sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of enterprise tech companies, cloud service providers, and consulting firms. Boulder is a secondary hub, particularly for SaaS and cybersecurity companies. Colorado Springs sees demand from defense and aerospace contractors such as Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, which hire solutions architects for government-facing infrastructure work.
How to find solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters solutions architect jobs in Colorado specifically to roles where employers have a documented sponsorship history, saving you from applying to positions that won't support a visa. Because solutions architect is a broad title, Migrate Mate's search lets you narrow by location and role to surface Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs opportunities relevant to your experience. It's built for international candidates, so every listing is screened with sponsorship in mind.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for solutions architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to post compensation ranges in job listings, which makes it easier to assess whether an offered salary meets the DOL prevailing wage requirement for your LCA before you apply. The University of Colorado and Colorado State University also produce a steady pipeline of international graduates in computer science and engineering, meaning employers in the state are generally familiar with the H-1B and OPT-to-H-1B sponsorship process for tech roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solutions architect jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
