Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Delaware?
Delaware's dominant industries drive most sponsorship activity for partnership development managers. Financial institutions like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Barclays with Wilmington operations have sponsored partnership roles, as have life sciences companies like Incyte and AstraZeneca. DuPont and Chemours also hire for partnership functions. Delaware's outsized concentration of Fortune 500 legal registrations means regional offices often have corporate-backed immigration support programs.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Delaware?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for partnership development managers in Delaware, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation threshold. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the business analyst or management consultant categories, depending on the specific role duties.
Which cities in Delaware have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington accounts for the substantial majority of partnership development manager sponsorship activity in Delaware. It hosts the headquarters and major regional offices of financial institutions and life sciences firms that regularly sponsor work visas. Newark, home to the University of Delaware, attracts some tech-adjacent partnership roles. Dover, the state capital, has limited sponsorship activity for this role type, as government and administrative employers rarely sponsor partnership development positions.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to find partnership development manager roles in Delaware without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface openings at Wilmington-based financial services firms, life sciences companies, and corporate headquarters that have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for business development professionals.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnership development managers seeking visa sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's incorporation environment means many companies are legally registered there but operate primarily elsewhere, so confirm the actual work location before applying. For H-1B purposes, the Labor Condition Application must reflect the genuine worksite, which affects the applicable prevailing wage determination. Delaware falls under the Philadelphia Department of Labor wage region for many classifications, and partnership development managers are often assessed under SOC codes for business development or sales management occupations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
