Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of the education program to assure compliance with accreditation agency, college, and clinical affiliates.
- Develops, implements and evaluates curriculum content and structure in accordance with accreditation and College standards.
- Assures curriculum development in accordance with the mandates of the accrediting agency and college.
- Assesses the quality of education and implements solutions to improve program education. Reassesses solutions to determine effectiveness.
- Develops policies and procedures consistent with accreditation requirements for all phases of student education.
- Provides academic advisement and counseling as needed to students during all phases of the educational program.
- Provides instruction (clinical, didactic or laboratory) to students enrolled in the program and to members of the healthcare team.
- Monitors student records to assure consistency with accreditation requirements and College policy.
- Manages operating and capital budget.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree unless otherwise required by accreditation agency.
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to meet all relevant qualifications for Program Coordinator as required for Program Accreditation.
- Credentials in specialty and in good standing with pertinent regulatory agencies.
Pay range: $41.28 to $56.76 based on relevant experience. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
