Position Summary
As Senior Manager in the Project Office, you will lead high-impact functional and technical projects and drive continuous improvement across the People Organization. You will optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure that HR initiatives are executed in alignment with organizational goals. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excels at managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Lead and deliver HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as a project management SME, guiding teams and stakeholders across HR.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Change Management:
- Champion change initiatives for HR process improvements, driving seamless transitions and user adoption.
- Design and deliver training programs for HR staff and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with HR team members, department heads, and external partners.
- Act as a liaison to ensure project goals align with organizational objectives.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Assist in identifying project risks and issues and escalate them to head of Project Office, sponsors, and steering committee members.
- Support in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks and issues and provide status updates.
Budget Tracking:
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenses.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to project expenditures.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in maintaining project quality standards and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in quality reviews and audits as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, project management, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience on both functional and technical projects as well as in waterfall and agile environments.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- PMP, PSM/CSM, or Lean Six Sigma certification (or in progress).
- Experience in change management, management consulting, and product management.
- Proficiency in HRIS (HR Information Systems).

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
