- Teaches in the didactic and clinical phases of the Masters of Science Physician Assistant Program (MSPAS) curriculum.
- Participates in scholarship and service activities as indicated in university and department policies.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates new instructional experiences and MSPAS entry-level curriculum.
- Participates in all aspects of ongoing program assessment and complies with Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Standards.
- Develops individualized learning objectives and competencies required for the successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work in face-to-face and online teaching environment. [Required]
- Knowledge of computer-based academic delivery systems. [Required]
- Ability to work with an ethnically diverse student body. [Required]
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills. [Required]
- Ability to demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to maintaining high professional standards. [Required]
- Ability to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals. [Required]
- Would be expected to attend a PAEA or PANDO workshop for faculty development. [Required]

- At least one peer reviewed publication while as Instructor. [preferred] Acceptable publications, such as journal articles, books, and book chapters, shall be published in periodicals or venues recognized by the appropriate academic or professional organizations at the national level and/or professional accrediting associations.

- 3+ years of clinical experience [Required]
- Experience teaching at the graduate level [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
