Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for accounting managers?
Large Atlanta-based employers with established immigration programs include Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, Coca-Cola, NCR Voyix, and Genuine Parts Company. Regional banks, consulting firms, and healthcare systems such as Piedmont Healthcare and Emory Healthcare also sponsor accounting manager roles. Companies with global operations are more likely to have the legal infrastructure and HR resources needed to file H-1B petitions for senior finance roles.
What visa types are most common for accounting manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for accounting managers in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Multinational companies with Georgia offices, including several Fortune 500 headquartered in Atlanta, may also use the L-1A intracompany transferee visa for managers relocating from overseas offices.
Which cities in Georgia have the most accounting manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of accounting manager sponsorship opportunities in Georgia. The Buckhead and Midtown corridors concentrate corporate headquarters and regional offices, while suburban areas like Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, and Duluth host technology and financial services employers that also recruit internationally. Savannah has a smaller but growing presence tied to its port logistics and manufacturing sectors.
How to find accounting manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search accounting manager roles in Georgia without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can browse by state and job function to surface relevant openings at Atlanta-area employers across industries including logistics, retail, financial services, and healthcare, which are the primary sectors hiring internationally in this role.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for accounting managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia is home to several top-ranked business programs, including those at Georgia Tech, Emory's Goizueta Business School, and the University of Georgia's Terry College, which maintain active recruiter pipelines with Atlanta employers. International graduates on OPT who are already working in Georgia may have an advantage applying to local employers already familiar with sponsoring F-1 holders. Accounting managers should verify that their role and degree meet specialty occupation standards before beginning the H-1B process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored accounting manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
