Search Cloud Solutions Architect Jobs in GeorgiaCloud Solutions Architect Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for cloud solutions architects?
Atlanta-based employers with established visa sponsorship programs for cloud solutions architects include NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, and UPS, all of which maintain significant cloud infrastructure teams. Global consulting firms with large Atlanta offices, including Deloitte, Accenture, and Infosys, also sponsor cloud architecture roles regularly and file among the highest volumes of H-1B visa petitions in Georgia.
Which visa types are most commonly used for cloud solutions architect roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common sponsorship path for cloud solutions architects in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field. L-1B visas appear for intracompany transfers at multinationals with Georgia offices. Candidates from Australia may find E-3 visa eligibility worth exploring, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category.
Which cities in Georgia have the most cloud solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of cloud solutions architect sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large consulting offices, and a growing fintech sector. Alpharetta, often called the technology city of the South, hosts significant tech campuses for companies like NCR and McKesson. Smaller pockets of activity exist in Athens and Savannah, though sponsorship opportunities there are considerably more limited.
How to find cloud solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, making it a practical starting point for cloud solutions architect roles in Georgia. You can filter directly by role and state to surface employers in Atlanta and Alpharetta who have active sponsorship programs. Because sponsorship willingness varies significantly by employer, using a platform that surfaces verified sponsoring employers saves considerable time compared to applying broadly.
Are there any Georgia-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for cloud solutions architects?
Georgia's cloud architecture market benefits from Georgia Tech's strong pipeline of graduate talent, which means employers are accustomed to sponsoring international candidates, particularly at the H-1B stage after OPT. The state's low cost of operations relative to coastal tech hubs has drawn large cloud infrastructure investments, expanding the pool of sponsoring employers. Prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B still apply and are benchmarked to the Atlanta metropolitan area for roles based there.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud solutions architect jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
