Which technology companies sponsor E-3 visas in Georgia?
Georgia's technology sector includes established E-3 sponsors across fintech, enterprise software, and cybersecurity. Companies like NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Cox Enterprises, and Fiserv have significant Atlanta-based technology operations and documented histories of sponsoring specialty occupation visas. Larger consulting firms with Atlanta offices, including Accenture and Deloitte, also sponsor E-3 visas for qualifying technology roles. Sponsorship willingness varies by role, team, and hiring manager, so it's worth confirming during the application process.
Which cities in Georgia have the most technology E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of technology E-3 sponsorship jobs in Georgia. Midtown and Buckhead host many technology company headquarters and regional offices, while areas like Alpharetta and Dunwoody have become home to a dense concentration of technology and fintech employers. Outside Metro Atlanta, technology roles with visa sponsorship are limited, making Atlanta the practical focus for Australian professionals targeting Georgia.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. In Georgia's technology sector, roles commonly meeting this standard include software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity analysts, cloud architects, systems analysts, and product managers with a relevant technical degree. Generalist roles where any degree field is acceptable typically do not qualify, so the degree-to-role alignment is important when evaluating a position.
How do I find technology E-3 sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for E-3 visa sponsorship jobs, including technology roles in Georgia. You can filter by state and industry to see current technology openings from Georgia-based employers that have sponsored or are open to E-3 visas. This saves time compared to screening general job listings where sponsorship willingness is unclear. Migrate Mate also provides E-3 visa processing support once you have an offer.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for technology E-3 sponsorship?
Georgia does not have state-level visa or work authorization requirements that affect the E-3 process, which remains entirely federal. However, Georgia's technology sector skews heavily toward fintech, logistics technology, and enterprise software, so having experience in those domains can improve your fit with local employers. Atlanta's relatively lower cost base compared to San Francisco or New York means some employers are more open to sponsoring international professionals rather than competing for local talent at higher price points.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 technology jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
