ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a student of the HDNU Global Operations, you will be an active contributor to the digitization of AI prompts supporting one of the most critical business departments: the Worldwide Project Execution community. You will play a key role in boosting the usage of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to promote operational efficiency and innovation across the organization.
What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
- Support the design, development, and digitization of AI prompts tailored to Project Management workstreams
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to identify key processes suitable for AI-driven automation and optimization
- Assist in mapping current business processes and translating them into structured AI prompt frameworks
- Conduct research on AI best practices and emerging prompt engineering techniques relevant to operations
- Test and validate AI prompt outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives
- Document prompt libraries, workflows, and standard operating procedures for future scalability
- Support the AI Big Swing initiative by tracking progress, reporting on milestones, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of AI-enabled processes
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate project outcomes to Project Execution Leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be available for a minimum of 6 months
- Must have valid work authorization for the country of employment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interest in digital transformation, and process optimization
- AI early adopter with proven examples of usage of AI technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- You have a passion for AI innovation and digital transformation in industrial operations
- You are someone who brings a proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and in global, cross-functional teams
- You have experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, or process automation platforms
- Familiarity with Project Management execution processes
POTENTIAL LOCATIONS INCLUDE:
- Schenectady, New York; Atlanta, Georgia
EMPLOYMENT DATES:
- January 2027 to August 2027 (Spring/Summer)
The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

- Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
- Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help offset living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
- Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
- GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
