Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lease Administrator with strong Yardi experience and a background in commercial real estate lease administration and recovery accounting. Key Responsibilities
- Review, abstract, and interpret commercial leases and related documents for accurate entry into the lease administration database.
- Maintain accurate lease terms and tenant information in Yardi to support monthly billing, CPI increases, collections, and other lease-related charges.
- Monitor critical lease dates, track contractual obligations, and resolve discrepancies in lease interpretation.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile year-end tenant expense recovery statements.
- Create and maintain recovery reconciliation files, incorporating updated lease data and verifying the accuracy of calculations.
- Collaborate with property accounting teams on budgeting, forecasting, and new tenant billing setup.
- Interpret and communicate lease recovery provisions to property management and accounting teams.
- Assist with tenant audits by researching discrepancies, maintaining supporting documentation, and preparing responses.
- Resolve tenant and landlord billing disputes in collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

- Experience with cost recovery reconciliations, operating expense recoveries, and related accounting functions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Yardi is required.
- Experience with MRI is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
