Which delivery & couriers companies sponsor Green Card visas in Georgia?
UPS, headquartered in Sandy Springs just outside Atlanta, is one of Georgia's most significant Green Card sponsors in the delivery sector. Amazon Logistics, FedEx, and DHL also operate major fulfillment and distribution facilities across the state. These companies have established PERM labor certification histories, particularly for operations management, logistics engineering, and supply chain coordination roles requiring specialized expertise.
Which cities in Georgia have the most delivery & couriers Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta and its surrounding metro area account for the large majority of delivery and couriers Green Card sponsorship activity in Georgia, given its position as a major Southeast logistics hub with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport nearby. Secondary concentrations appear in Savannah, which has grown significantly as a port-linked distribution center, and in Kennesaw, Smyrna, and College Park where large carrier facilities are based.
What types of delivery & couriers roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Georgia?
Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification typically targets roles requiring specialized qualifications that are difficult to fill domestically. In the delivery and couriers sector, this commonly includes logistics operations managers, transportation network engineers, supply chain analysts, and last-mile delivery technology specialists. Standard driver positions rarely qualify, but roles combining technical expertise, degree requirements, and supervisory responsibility are more frequently sponsored by Georgia employers.
How do I find delivery & couriers Green Card sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for delivery and couriers roles in Georgia that have verified Green Card sponsorship history, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application and PERM filing data. This means you can identify which Georgia employers have an actual track record of sponsoring permanent residency in this industry, rather than guessing based on job postings alone. Search by location, role type, and visa category to narrow your results efficiently.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in Georgia's delivery & couriers industry?
Georgia does not impose state-level immigration requirements beyond federal standards, but employers in the delivery sector must comply with federal E-Verify requirements, which Georgia enforces for all employers with state contracts and strongly encourages broadly. The state's growing logistics infrastructure, driven by port expansion at Savannah and continued air cargo growth at Hartsfield-Jackson, has increased employer demand for specialized operations talent, which can support the business necessity arguments underlying PERM labor certification filings.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card delivery & couriers jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
