Which delivery and couriers companies sponsor Green Card visas in Texas?
Major logistics employers with established Green Card sponsorship programs in Texas include Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and XPO Logistics. These companies operate large distribution and fulfillment centers across the state and have filed Labor Condition Applications and PERM applications for eligible roles. Sponsorship is more common for operations management, logistics coordination, and supply chain positions than for entry-level delivery roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most delivery and couriers Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads Texas for delivery and couriers Green Card sponsorship activity, driven by its central location and concentration of major distribution hubs. Houston ranks second, supported by its port access and e-commerce fulfillment infrastructure. San Antonio and Austin are growing markets with expanding last-mile delivery operations. Smaller cities like El Paso and Laredo also see sponsorship activity tied to cross-border freight and logistics corridors.
What types of delivery and couriers roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Texas?
Green Card sponsorship in the delivery and couriers industry most commonly applies to roles requiring specialized skills or management responsibilities. These include logistics operations managers, supply chain analysts, transportation network planners, and warehouse operations directors. PERM-based sponsorship requires employers to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available, making it more attainable for technical and supervisory positions than for general driving or sorting roles.
How do I find delivery and couriers Green Card sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for Green Card sponsorship roles in the delivery and couriers industry across Texas, showing verified employer sponsorship history so you can focus on companies that have actually filed PERM applications. Search by city to compare hiring activity across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Reviewing an employer's DOL filing history through Migrate Mate helps you identify which companies sponsor at scale versus occasionally.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in Texas's delivery and couriers industry?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation for sponsored roles and can influence prevailing wage calculations under PERM. The state's designation as a major freight and logistics hub means higher volumes of DOL PERM filings in this industry compared to most other states. Employers in Texas are also subject to E-Verify requirements for certain federal contractors, which can affect the hiring and sponsorship process for logistics companies with government contracts.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card delivery & couriers jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
