Which medical devices companies sponsor Green Card visas in Georgia?
Several large medical devices employers with Georgia operations have filed Green Card petitions through PERM labor certification, including Medline Industries, Cardinal Health, Philips Healthcare, and Stryker. Contract manufacturers and mid-sized device firms clustered around the Atlanta metro also sponsor permanent residence for specialized roles. Sponsorship patterns vary by company size, role criticality, and whether the position requires skills that are difficult to source domestically.
Which cities in Georgia have the most medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta and its northern suburbs, including Alpharetta and Duluth, account for the largest share of medical devices Green Card sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by regional headquarters and distribution operations. Macon has a smaller but active medical manufacturing base, and Savannah is growing as a logistics and manufacturing hub for healthcare supply chains. Most Green Card-sponsoring roles in this industry are concentrated in the greater Atlanta metro.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Georgia?
Roles that typically qualify for employer-sponsored Green Cards in Georgia's medical devices sector include quality engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, R&D engineers, manufacturing engineers, and software engineers working on device platforms. These positions generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field, meeting PERM labor certification requirements. Roles in clinical affairs and biomedical engineering also appear regularly in Green Card filings within this industry.
How do I find medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and lets you filter medical devices jobs in Georgia by Green Card sponsorship, so you're only seeing roles where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor permanent residence. This saves significant time compared to searching general job boards and filtering manually. Migrate Mate aggregates active sponsorship-eligible postings, making it a practical starting point for your Georgia medical devices job search.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in Georgia's medical devices industry?
Georgia does not impose state-level immigration requirements beyond federal PERM and USCIS processes, but the state's right-to-work status means employment relationships can change quickly, which matters because Green Card sponsorship is tied to continued employment with the sponsoring employer. Georgia's medical devices employers also tend to work with immigration counsel familiar with FDA-regulated manufacturing environments, where job duties must be documented precisely for PERM labor certification purposes.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card medical devices jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
