Which medical devices companies in Montana sponsor Green Card visas?
Montana's medical devices employers with documented Green Card sponsorship activity include manufacturers and distributors of surgical tools, diagnostic imaging equipment, and orthopedic implants operating in Billings and Missoula. Larger national medtech companies with Montana facilities are generally more likely to have established PERM labor certification processes than smaller regional distributors, though sponsorship capability varies by employer and role.
Which cities in Montana have the most medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Billings is Montana's largest city and its primary hub for healthcare and medical devices employment, making it the most active location for Green Card sponsorship in this sector. Missoula, home to the University of Montana and several biotech-adjacent employers, is a secondary cluster. Great Falls and Bozeman have smaller but growing medical technology presences driven by hospital systems and device distributors.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Montana?
Roles most commonly sponsored under PERM labor certification in medical devices include biomedical engineers, quality assurance engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, manufacturing engineers, and R&D scientists. These positions typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or life sciences. Clinical applications specialists and field service engineers with specialized credentialing may also qualify.
How do I find medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs in Montana?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for medical devices jobs with confirmed Green Card sponsorship history in Montana, using DOL Labor Condition Application and PERM filing data to surface employers who have actively sponsored visa holders. This is more targeted than general job searches because it focuses on verified sponsorship activity rather than self-reported employer claims, helping you identify companies in Billings, Missoula, and elsewhere with real filing track records.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in Montana's medical devices industry?
Montana's lower population density means the medical devices job market is smaller than coastal states, so PERM labor market tests may yield fewer competing applicants, which can work in an employer's favor during recruitment documentation. However, prevailing wage determinations still apply based on the specific occupation and geographic area. Employers must use the OFLC Wage Search to identify the correct wage level for the role's location within Montana before filing.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card medical devices jobs in Montana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
