Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for patient service coordinators?
Large health systems are the most active sponsors in Georgia. Emory Healthcare, WellStar Health System, Piedmont Health, Northside Hospital, and Grady Health System have historically filed for work visas on behalf of administrative and patient-facing healthcare staff. Multi-specialty clinic groups and academic medical centers affiliated with Emory University and Augusta University also appear in Department of Labor sponsorship records for coordinator-level roles.
What visa types are most commonly used for patient service coordinator roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common employer-sponsored visa for patient service coordinators when the role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as health administration or business. However, some coordinators enter on TN visas if they are Canadian or Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT can provide initial work authorization for recent graduates while pursuing long-term sponsorship.
Which cities in Georgia have the most patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the majority of patient service coordinator sponsorship opportunities in Georgia, driven by the concentration of large hospital networks, specialty clinics, and healthcare management offices in the metro area. Augusta is a secondary hub, anchored by the Augusta University Medical Center and the AU Health system. Savannah and Macon also have active healthcare hiring markets through regional health systems serving those communities.
How to find patient service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is specifically built for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters patient service coordinator openings in Georgia by sponsorship status. Searching Migrate Mate lets you focus on Georgia-based employers who have indicated willingness to sponsor, saving significant time compared to manually reviewing general job postings. Setting up role and location filters for Georgia patient service coordinator positions gives you the most relevant results as new openings are listed.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for patient service coordinators seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia does not impose additional state-level licensing requirements for patient service coordinators beyond general healthcare administrative standards, which simplifies the hiring process for international candidates. Employers in Georgia must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific metro area listed on the Labor Condition Application, so the required wage will differ between Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah postings. Candidates with credentials from Georgia State University or Emory's health administration programs may find stronger local employer connections.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service coordinator jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
