Which companies sponsor visas for program supervisors in Georgia?
Healthcare systems including Emory Healthcare, Grady Health System, and WellStar Health System have sponsored supervisory roles in Georgia. Large nonprofits, state-contracted social service agencies, and education-focused organizations in Atlanta also have documented sponsorship histories. Federal contractors operating in the Atlanta metro area, particularly in public health and workforce development, are additional sources of program supervisor sponsorship activity.
What visa types are most common for program supervisor roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa category for program supervisor positions in Georgia, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as public health, social work, or education administration. Candidates already holding TN visa, O-1 visa, or L-1 visa status may also find employers willing to support those categories depending on their background and the employer's legal team.
Which cities in Georgia have the most program supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of program supervisor sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of hospital systems, nonprofits, federal agencies, and corporate headquarters. Augusta sees demand through healthcare and military-adjacent organizations near Fort Eisenhower. Savannah has a smaller but growing pool of opportunities in social services and workforce development, while Athens benefits from University of Georgia affiliated programs and research administration roles.
How to find program supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters program supervisor roles in Georgia by sponsorship history and visa type. Rather than sorting through general job postings with no sponsorship signal, Migrate Mate surfaces employers in Georgia who have actively filed for program supervisor positions, saving significant research time for candidates on H-1B, OPT, or other work authorization timelines.
Are there state-specific considerations for program supervisors seeking sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but program supervisor roles tied to state-funded contracts in social services or public health may require licensure, such as a Licensed Professional Counselor or social work credential, which can affect sponsorship timelines. Atlanta's designation as a major H-1B filing hub means immigration attorneys and employer HR teams in the area are generally experienced with sponsorship processes for supervisory and management roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program supervisor jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
