Which companies sponsor visas for program supervisors in Colorado?
Colorado employers with a track record of sponsoring international workers for program supervisor roles include Maximus Federal Services, Wellpath, Savio House, and larger nonprofit networks operating under federal or state contracts in behavioral health and workforce development. University-affiliated organizations such as those connected to the University of Denver or University of Colorado system also sponsor supervisory roles when candidates hold qualifying advanced degrees.
Which visa types are most common for program supervisor roles in Colorado?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for program supervisors in Colorado, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, public health, education, or a related specialty field. Some positions at qualifying nonprofit or government-affiliated organizations may be eligible for cap-exempt H-1B petitions. Candidates with extraordinary ability in their field may also qualify for the O-1 visa, though this is less common at the supervisor level.
Which cities in Colorado have the most program supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of program supervisor sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of nonprofits, state agencies, and federally contracted service providers. Aurora and Colorado Springs are secondary hubs, particularly for behavioral health and community services programs. Boulder sees demand from education-adjacent and research-linked organizations, often connected to the University of Colorado system.
How to find program supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters program supervisor jobs specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse Colorado openings without manually screening hundreds of listings. Because program supervisor roles vary widely by sector in Colorado, from behavioral health to workforce development to education nonprofits, filtering by role type and location on Migrate Mate helps you identify which employers are actively sponsoring international candidates in this state.
Are there state-specific considerations for program supervisor visa sponsorship in Colorado?
Colorado program supervisor roles that fall under state or federally funded contracts often require specific licensure, such as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, which can affect visa eligibility and specialty occupation classification. Employers must also meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metropolitan area, which sets the wage floor for sponsored positions. Candidates should confirm that their degree field aligns with the specific program area the role oversees.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program supervisor jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
