Which companies sponsor visas for solutions consultants in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered technology and fintech companies account for the majority of solutions consultant sponsorships in Georgia. NCR Voyix, Global Payments, and Fiserv have consistent H-1B filing histories for client-facing technical roles. Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft also sponsor solutions consultants through their Atlanta offices. Consulting firms with Georgia practices, including Deloitte and Accenture, regularly petition for this role category as well.
Which visa types are most common for solutions consultant roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for solutions consultants in Georgia, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business information systems, meeting the specialty occupation standard. L-1B intracompany transferee visas are also used when candidates are transferring from a foreign affiliate. TN status applies to qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupational categories.
Which cities in Georgia have the most solutions consultant sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of solutions consultant sponsorship activity in Georgia. The Midtown and Buckhead technology corridors, along with suburban hubs in Alpharetta and Dunwoody, host numerous enterprise software and fintech employers that hire for this role. Georgia's other metro areas see limited sponsorship activity for solutions consultant positions, making Atlanta the practical focus for international candidates.
How to find solutions consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters solutions consultant roles specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can browse verified Georgia openings without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. Given the concentration of sponsors in Atlanta's fintech and enterprise software sectors, filtering by both role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces the employers most likely to file H-1B petitions for solutions consultant positions.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for solutions consultants seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia Tech's strong engineering and computing programs create a well-established pipeline of international talent, which means many Atlanta-area employers are experienced with H-1B sponsorship processes for technical client-facing roles. The state's fintech industry designation as a national hub means solutions consultants often work across multiple client sites, so candidates should confirm with employers how worksite locations are documented on the Labor Condition Application, as multi-site work has specific prevailing wage implications.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solutions consultant jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
