Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with the desire to use your expertise in a leadership role? Are you passionate about quality healthcare, patient safety, best practices, and performance improvement? If you are an RN with oncology experience, as well as a background or desire to be an influential leader, this might be the perfect opportunity for you! St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the Chemo Infusion team. You would be joining a patient focused, collaborative, and creative leadership team!
- Full-time: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period)
- Schedule: 4 days x 9-hour shifts a week
- Certification pay (ex. OCN)
- Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the team, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards
- Coach, mentor, develop, and evaluate staff to support professional growth and performance excellence
- Foster a positive team culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting accountability
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and operational efficiency
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Provide operational leadership to support smooth daily department operations
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and support continuous process enhancement
- Assist with budget planning, resource management, and assessment of clinical service needs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Nursing Degree
- Experience: Three (3) + years’ relevant RN experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

- Oncology experience and/or Leadership experience
