Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Snowflake Architect with strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data structures, data modeling, and enterprise data warehousing. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data solutions while supporting an ongoing SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Integrate SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data into Snowflake using SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC) and relevant ingestion mechanisms.
- Support the migration of existing data models from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including retrofitting and transformation of existing models.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL queries, data pipelines, transformations, and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models and create Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams.
- Work across multiple SAP functional domains, particularly Finance and Procurement.
- Support parallel SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes until the new data management solution goes live.
- Work with raw data layers, validate source data, and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with SAP, data engineering, enterprise architecture, and Power BI reporting teams.
- Coordinate delivery activities with globally distributed teams and ensure timely implementation.
- Troubleshoot data integration issues, optimize performance, and implement appropriate CI/CD practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions while remaining actively involved in hands-on development.
