• Dedicated dental suite
• Ultrasound
• Cold/therapeutic laser

You’ll join a collaborative and experienced medical team that values autonomy, efficiency, and high-quality medicine in a supportive environment. This role offers a strong mix of general practice and urgent care exposure, providing variety and professional growth.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Open seven days per week
• Hospital hours: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule
• No overnight on-call responsibilities

Cases

• Broad mix of small animal general practice cases during the week
• Urgent care and same-day sick cases primarily seen on weekends
• Soft tissue surgery and dentistry
• Internal medicine and diagnostic workups
• Fear Free and Feline Friendly handling protocols
• Access to advanced diagnostics and strong referral partnerships when needed

Total Rewards

As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is 110,000 to 150,000, based on a 40-hour workweek.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (IL), or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
