Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for cloud solutions architects?
Large enterprises with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors for cloud solutions architect roles in Indiana. Elevance Health, Eli Lilly, Salesforce, and Cummins have track records of H-1B sponsorship for technical roles. Major consulting firms like Deloitte and Infosys, which operate in Indianapolis, also regularly sponsor cloud architecture positions. Smaller regional firms sponsor less frequently and inconsistently.
Which visa types are most common for cloud solutions architect roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for cloud solutions architects in Indiana, as the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field. L-1B visas apply when a candidate is transferring within a multinational company in a specialized knowledge capacity. O-1A visas are an option for architects with demonstrable extraordinary ability, though less commonly pursued for this role.
Which cities in Indiana have the most cloud solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the overwhelming majority of cloud solutions architect sponsorship opportunities in Indiana. The city hosts the headquarters of Elevance Health, major Salesforce operations, and a dense cluster of financial services and healthcare IT employers. Carmel and Fishers, as Indianapolis suburbs with growing tech presence, occasionally surface relevant roles. Fort Wayne and South Bend have a smaller number of opportunities, primarily tied to regional manufacturers adopting cloud infrastructure.
How to find cloud solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters cloud solutions architect roles in Indiana by employers with verified sponsorship histories. Because many Indiana postings do not explicitly state sponsorship availability, using a platform that cross-references H-1B filing data is more reliable than general job searching. On Migrate Mate, you can narrow results to Indiana and cloud solutions architect titles to find the most relevant active openings.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for cloud solutions architects in Indiana?
Indiana does not have state-level visa programs, so sponsorship follows federal H-1B rules entirely. One practical consideration is that Indiana's cloud architecture market is heavily weighted toward healthcare IT, meaning employers often require familiarity with compliance frameworks like HIPAA alongside cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Purdue University and Indiana University produce graduates in relevant disciplines, creating a local talent pipeline that means sponsored candidates are typically expected to demonstrate senior-level expertise to justify a sponsorship investment.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud solutions architect jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
