Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for customer operations managers?
Indiana-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity for operations management roles include Eli Lilly, Salesforce (Indianapolis hub), Cummins, Anthem, and major logistics operators like GEODIS. Manufacturing-heavy companies in the Fort Wayne and Columbus corridors also file LCAs for customer operations positions. Sponsorship patterns vary by company size and hiring cycle, so reviewing employer LCA filings through the DOL's public disclosure data gives the clearest picture of active sponsors.
Which visa types are most common for customer operations manager roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer operations manager roles in Indiana, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1A intramanagerial visas through multinational employers may also transition into Indiana-based roles. TN status can apply for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories, though eligibility depends on the specific role and degree field.
Which cities in Indiana have the most customer operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of customer operations manager sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 regional headquarters, tech firms, and healthcare companies. Fort Wayne and Evansville see demand from manufacturing and distribution employers. Bloomington and West Lafayette have smaller but notable hiring activity tied to university-adjacent tech and biotech operations, often connected to Indiana University and Purdue University employer networks.
How to find customer operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to search customer operations manager roles in Indiana without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can browse by state and role type to surface openings from employers with active sponsorship histories. This is particularly useful in Indiana, where sponsoring employers are spread across Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and mid-size manufacturing hubs that aren't always visible on general job platforms.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for customer operations manager visa sponsorship?
Indiana's prevailing wage requirements for customer operations manager LCA filings are generally lower than coastal markets, which can make sponsorship more accessible for mid-size Indiana employers who might otherwise hesitate on cost grounds. The state's strong manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors mean many sponsoring employers are in specialized industries where operations management experience in those verticals is a significant advantage. Purdue and IU alumni networks also create pipelines into Indiana employers familiar with sponsoring international candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer operations manager jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
