Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for customer operations managers?
Technology and telecommunications companies have been among the most active sponsors for customer operations manager roles in Texas. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T in Dallas, and Amazon's fulfillment and corporate operations teams across the state have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for operations management positions. Large enterprise software firms and logistics companies based in Houston and Austin also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role category.
Which visa types are most common for customer operations manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer operations manager roles in Texas, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, which generally satisfies the specialty occupation standard. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may have TN visa eligibility under the management consultant or engineer categories, depending on the specific job duties and degree.
Which Texas cities have the most customer operations manager visa sponsorship jobs?
Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston account for the majority of customer operations manager sponsorship activity in Texas. Austin's tech sector, anchored by companies like Dell, Apple, and Oracle, generates consistent demand for operations leadership. Dallas-Fort Worth is a hub for financial services, telecommunications, and retail headquarters. Houston's energy sector and growing logistics industry add additional hiring volume, particularly for operations roles tied to supply chain and enterprise client management.
How to find customer operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for customer operations manager roles in Texas without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can filter by state, role type, and visa category to surface employers actively hiring and sponsoring in this field. This is especially useful for H-1B and E-3 candidates who need confirmed sponsorship willingness before investing time in an application.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for customer operations managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the Department of Labor sets wage levels based on regional data specific to each metropolitan area. The Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin metro areas carry different prevailing wage benchmarks, so the required minimum salary your sponsoring employer must pay will depend on which city the role is based in. Texas's large population of international university graduates from UT Austin, Texas A&M, and Rice also creates a strong local pipeline of candidates already familiar with sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer operations manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
