Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in Indiana?
Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Cummins, and Anthem (now Elevance Health) are among Indiana employers with documented visa sponsorship activity for senior program management positions. Large healthcare systems such as Indiana University Health also hire at the director level. Sponsorship tends to be concentrated at organizations with established HR and immigration infrastructure rather than smaller regional employers.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for director of program management positions in Indiana, given the role's specialty occupation requirements typically tied to a degree in business, engineering, or a related field. L-1A intracompany transferee visas are also used when candidates move within a multinational employer. O-1 visas are less common but apply to candidates with demonstrable extraordinary achievement in program leadership.
Which cities in Indiana have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the large majority of director of program management sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of life sciences, technology, and healthcare employers. Bloomington sees some activity tied to university-affiliated research and medical device firms. Fort Wayne and South Bend have a smaller but present share of openings through manufacturing and logistics companies with senior program leadership needs.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find director of program management roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that do not offer sponsorship. You can search by state and role type to surface active openings from Indiana employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness, saving significant time compared to reviewing unfiltered job feeds.
Are there state-specific or role-specific factors that affect sponsorship for director of program management positions in Indiana?
Indiana's life sciences corridor, anchored by Eli Lilly's global headquarters in Indianapolis, creates consistent demand for senior program leaders with pharmaceutical or medical device experience, which can strengthen a sponsorship case. The H-1B prevailing wage requirements for director-level roles are determined by DOL wage data for the Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson metropolitan area, so employers must meet that benchmark regardless of internal pay bands.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
