- Drive continuous improvement and capability building across the PM function, including leadership development and best practice sharing
- Lead transformation initiatives, including the shift from order management to a full lifecycle Program Management model
- Champion innovation in tools, processes, and ways of working to enhance agility, scalability, and performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in Program Management, Project Management, or related leadership roles, ideally within nutraceuticals, food supplements, or life sciences manufacturing environments

- Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing, globally distributed teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and seniority levels
- High adaptability and ability to lead through transformation and organizational change
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~50%)

Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in South Carolina?
Employers with established sponsorship records for senior program management roles in South Carolina include Bosch, Volvo Cars, Michelin, Fluor Corporation, and SCANA (now Dominion Energy). Large defense contractors operating near Charleston and Greenville, such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin, have also sponsored director-level program management positions. Sponsorship at the director level is more common at multinationals and large enterprises than at smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in South Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director of program management roles in South Carolina, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration, or project management. The L-1A intracompany transferee visa is another pathway for candidates moving from a foreign affiliate to a South Carolina office in a managerial or executive capacity. O-1 visas appear occasionally for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Charleston and North Charleston hold the highest concentration of director of program management opportunities with sponsorship potential, anchored by aerospace, defense, and logistics employers. Greenville follows closely, driven by the BMW manufacturing corridor and a dense cluster of automotive suppliers. Columbia, as the state capital and home to major healthcare systems and state government contractors, also generates demand for program management directors at senior levels.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters director of program management roles in South Carolina by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from sorting through listings that don't support work authorization. Because director-level roles are competitive and sponsorship requirements add complexity, using Migrate Mate to identify employers with active sponsorship histories in South Carolina gives you a more targeted starting point than general job searches.
Are there any state-specific considerations for director of program management visa sponsorship in South Carolina?
South Carolina's manufacturing and aerospace growth has increased demand for senior program management talent, but the H-1B sponsorship process still requires employers to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor confirming the offered wage meets prevailing wage standards for the Columbia or Charleston metropolitan area. Director-level roles typically fall into higher prevailing wage tiers, which means employers must demonstrate both the compensation and the organizational need before USCIS will approve sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
