Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in Wisconsin?
Epic Systems in Verona, Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Johnson Controls, Oshkosh Corporation, and American Family Insurance are among Wisconsin employers that have sponsored work visas for senior program management roles. Large healthcare IT firms and industrial manufacturers in the state have a documented history of H-1B visa sponsorship for director-level positions requiring specialized technical or operational expertise.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of program management roles in Wisconsin, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as engineering, computer science, or business. Candidates already holding L-1A intracompany transferee status through a multinational employer are another common path into director-level program management roles in the state.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Madison and Milwaukee account for the majority of director of program management sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Madison benefits from Epic Systems and the University of Wisconsin technology ecosystem, while Milwaukee draws from healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services employers. Verona, as Epic's corporate campus location, is a notable concentration point for senior program management hiring specifically within health IT.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically to surface visa sponsorship jobs for international candidates, including director of program management roles in Wisconsin. You can filter by state and role to see employers actively hiring at this level who have a history of sponsoring work visas. This is more targeted than general job searching, since Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on sponsorship-eligible opportunities.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for director of program management visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's director of program management roles are concentrated in sectors with strong institutional employers, particularly health IT around Madison and industrial manufacturing around Milwaukee, which tend to have established immigration infrastructure and legal teams. Because these are senior roles, employers typically expect candidates to lead large cross-functional programs, and the H-1B prevailing wage requirements for director-level positions reflect that seniority, so employers in this state are generally sponsoring for highly specialized leadership profiles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
