Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in Utah?
Adobe, Qualtrics, Domo, and Overstock have all sponsored senior program management roles in Utah. Healthcare IT firms like Health Catalyst and Instructure, along with defense contractors near Ogden and Clearfield, also hire at the director level and have H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Silicon Slopes companies generally have more established immigration infrastructure than smaller regional employers.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director of program management positions in Utah, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business. L-1A intracompany transferee visas are also relevant for candidates moving from a foreign affiliate to a Utah office at the director level. O-1 visas apply for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement.
Which cities in Utah have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest share of director-level program management openings in Utah, followed by Lehi and Draper within the Silicon Slopes tech corridor. Provo sees hiring from large tech employers near Brigham Young University, and Ogden has activity driven by defense and manufacturing program management. Remote-friendly Utah companies increasingly hire directors regardless of city.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles in the U.S., including director of program management positions in Utah. You can filter directly by state and role to surface employers with active sponsorship histories. Because director-level roles move quickly and aren't always widely advertised, using a focused platform like Migrate Mate helps you identify relevant openings before they close.
Are there any Utah-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for director of program management roles?
Utah's Silicon Slopes ecosystem has grown significantly, and many Lehi and Salt Lake City tech employers have in-house immigration counsel or retained law firms experienced with H-1B and L-1 visa filings, which streamlines sponsorship for senior hires. Director roles in Utah's defense sector may involve security clearance requirements that can complicate or delay sponsorship eligibility, so it's worth clarifying clearance expectations with employers early in the process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
