Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for director of program management roles?
Walmart and its technology division in Bentonville is among the most active H-1B sponsors in Arkansas for senior program management positions. Other employers with sponsorship history include Windstream Communications, Dillard's, and Stephens Inc. in Little Rock. Defense contractors and healthcare systems such as Baptist Health also periodically sponsor directors of program management when the candidate meets specialty occupation requirements.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of program management roles in Arkansas, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specialized field such as business, engineering, or computer science. Candidates with multinational employer relationships may qualify for an L-1A intracompany transferee visa. Individuals with extraordinary ability in their field may explore the O-1A, though it requires substantial documented achievement.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville and Rogers in Northwest Arkansas account for a significant share of director-level program management openings, largely driven by Walmart's global headquarters and its dense supplier ecosystem. Little Rock follows as the state's capital and largest city, with opportunities in healthcare, financial services, and government technology. Fayetteville also sees demand, supported by the University of Arkansas and growing tech activity in the region.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter director of program management roles by state, including Arkansas. Because Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on sponsorship-eligible positions, you avoid sifting through listings from employers with no sponsorship history. Searching by role and location there gives you a targeted shortlist of Arkansas employers who have sponsored similar senior program management positions.
Are there state-specific considerations for director of program management roles in Arkansas?
Arkansas employers filing H-1B petitions for director of program management roles must submit a Labor Condition Application certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for that occupation in the specific metro area, which differs between Bentonville, Little Rock, and smaller markets. Northwest Arkansas has seen rapid compensation growth due to Walmart's influence, which can raise prevailing wage benchmarks in that corridor. Candidates should confirm their employer is registered with USCIS as a petitioner before accepting an offer.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
