Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in Georgia?
Georgia-based employers with consistent H-1B sponsorship records for program management leadership include NCR Atleos, Fiserv, Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, and UPS, all headquartered in or near Atlanta. Healthcare systems like Emory Healthcare and Piedmont Health also sponsor director-level program management roles, particularly for technology transformation and operations initiatives.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of program management positions in Georgia, as the role consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as business, engineering, or computer science. Candidates already holding L-1A intracompany transferee status or O-1A extraordinary ability visas may also be considered by Georgia employers without requiring a new H-1B sponsorship.
Which cities in Georgia have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of director of program management sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and technology firms. Alpharetta, known locally as a fintech and cybersecurity hub, is a significant secondary market. Duluth, Peachtree City, and Savannah see smaller but growing demand, particularly in manufacturing operations and logistics program management.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters director of program management roles in Georgia by sponsorship history, so you're not sifting through postings that won't support a work visa. The platform surfaces employers in Atlanta, Alpharetta, and other Georgia markets that have documented H-1B filings for program management leadership, making your search considerably more targeted than a general job board.
Are there state-specific factors that affect director of program management sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's tech ecosystem, anchored by the Atlanta metro, creates steady demand for senior program management talent and attracts employers comfortable with H-1B sponsorship. The presence of Georgia Tech as a major engineering pipeline means many local employers have established relationships with international talent. Prevailing wage determinations for director-level program management roles in the Atlanta metropolitan area are set at Level III or IV under Department of Labor guidelines, which employers must meet to file a certified Labor Condition Application.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
