Which companies sponsor visas for director of program management roles in New Hampshire?
BAE Systems in Nashua and Manchester is one of the more active sponsors for senior program management roles, given its large defense and aerospace operations in the state. Dartmouth Health and other regional healthcare networks also hire at the director level. Technology firms in the southern New Hampshire corridor, particularly those with federal contracts, have a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visa petitions for experienced program management leaders.
Which visa types are most common for director of program management roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of program management roles, as the position consistently meets the specialty occupation standard given its requirement for a bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1A status through multinational employers may also transfer into director-level roles. Those with extraordinary achievement may explore the O-1A, though it requires substantial documented recognition in program management or a related discipline.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most director of program management sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of director of program management sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. Nashua's dense concentration of defense contractors and technology firms makes it the primary hub for senior program leadership hiring. Manchester, as the state's largest city, draws healthcare, financial services, and government contractors. Bedford and Merrimack, both part of the southern New Hampshire employment corridor, also generate director-level openings with some regularity.
How to find director of program management visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify New Hampshire employers actively willing to sponsor director of program management candidates rather than sifting through roles that exclude international applicants. Given that director-level positions often go unlisted on general platforms, Migrate Mate's focused database helps surface opportunities with defense, healthcare, and technology employers in the Manchester-Nashua corridor where sponsorship at this seniority level is most common.
What should international candidates know about pursuing director of program management roles in New Hampshire?
Director of program management roles in New Hampshire frequently sit within defense or government contracting environments, where security clearance requirements can complicate or limit sponsorship for non-citizens, particularly for roles requiring access to classified programs. Candidates should clarify clearance expectations early in the hiring process. Outside the defense sector, healthcare and commercial technology employers in the state face fewer clearance constraints and have shown stronger willingness to sponsor senior program management candidates through the H-1B process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of program management jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
