- Maintain full compliance with life safety systems, fire code, OSHA, and brand standards
- Lead safety initiatives, inspections, and emergency preparedness efforts
-
Ensure proper documentation, certifications, and audit readiness at all times

Which companies sponsor visas for director of project management roles in Indiana?
Eli Lilly, Cummins, Salesforce's Indianapolis office, Anthem (now Elevance Health), and Rolls-Royce North America are among Indiana employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for senior project management roles. Large manufacturers and life sciences companies in the state tend to have dedicated HR and immigration support infrastructure, making them more likely to sponsor director-level candidates than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for director of project management roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director of project management positions in Indiana, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specialized field. L-1A visas are also relevant for candidates transferring into Indiana from a foreign affiliated office in a managerial capacity. O-1 visas occasionally apply for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in project leadership.
Which cities in Indiana have the most director of project management sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the majority of director of project management sponsorship opportunities in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, life sciences firms, and tech employers. Fort Wayne has manufacturing and logistics employers with senior PM needs, and South Bend's growing tech and healthcare sectors add additional opportunities. Columbus, home to Cummins' global headquarters, is also worth targeting.
How to find director of project management visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters director of project management jobs specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can browse Indiana openings without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces positions from employers with active sponsorship histories in the state. Because director-level roles move quickly, checking Migrate Mate regularly and setting up alerts for Indiana project management openings improves your chances of applying early.
Are there any Indiana-specific factors to know when pursuing director of project management sponsorship?
Indiana's manufacturing and life sciences concentration means many director of project management roles require industry-specific credentials or domain expertise, which strengthens the specialty occupation case for H-1B purposes. Purdue University and Indiana University produce strong local talent pipelines, so employers may have higher expectations for candidates requiring sponsorship. Director-level positions generally require documented evidence of supervisory responsibility and strategic decision-making to support the petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of project management jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
