SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
This position provides financial support and analytics to the Senior Director of Specialty Surgery Finance and will assist in the financial forecasting processes, performance analytics, and strategic financial support for the Specialty Surgery P&L. Financial analysis and business partnering include but are not limited to: P&L reporting, long range strategic planning, and analytics as well as preparing materials for management reviews/divisional presentations. Special analyses to support strategic decision making may also be required. Other detailed analyses will be required on an ad hoc basis.

Reports directly to the Senior Director of Specialty Surgery Finance.

The position will directly manage a team of 1-2 Finance professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Active participant and leader in forecasting process including internal timelines, instructions and templates as well as consolidation and analysis for the two businesses. Ensure completeness and accuracy of forecasts.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of forecasts in OneStream.
- Provide strong analytics to Specialty Surgery leadership via trends and dynamic reporting (incl. historical and current run rates as well as other methods). Creating standardized and effective reports and analytical tools to support commercial partners & Corporate Finance.
- Lead monthly/quarterly close for Revenue and P&L across franchises and provide analysis of performance (versus Budget/latest forecast and versus prior year), latest estimates and risks/opportunities to the businesses.
- Closely monitor, report, and align with business on Operating Expenses within the division as well as drive actions to deliver on budget commitments.
- Build strong relationships, partner closely, and ensure strong alignment with Corporate Finance and other FP&A teams providing reporting as necessary.
- Utilize in depth professional knowledge to analyze & interpret financial data to be used in meaningful and focused reports which support business leaders and help drive performance results & action.
- Support the short-term and long-term strategies of the business including modeling and planning with Marketing team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
- Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting required. MBA preferred. CPA a plus.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Accounting roles including Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Budgeting.
- Strong Excel skills and proven facility in financial modeling required.
- Detail oriented; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills in conjunction with the ability to interact with all levels in the organization are a must.
- Experience with multidimensional databases such as Hyperion, OneStream, BPC or TM1 is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role, and the ideal candidate will be based out of Princeton, NJ. The hybrid schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Salary Pay Range:
$109,250.00 - $149,500.00 USD Salary. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
