Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for growth roles?
Indianapolis-based employers are the most active sponsors for growth positions in Indiana. Salesforce, Eli Lilly, Genesys, and Angi have documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for growth-adjacent roles including growth analyst, marketing operations manager, and demand generation specialist. Healthtech and SaaS companies concentrated in the Indianapolis metro account for a significant share of sponsorship filings in this category.
What visa types are most common for growth jobs in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for growth roles in Indiana, particularly for positions requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, computer science, or business. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT sometimes transition to H-1B through Indiana employers. The O-1A is an option for growth professionals with demonstrable evidence of extraordinary ability, though it requires substantial documentation.
Which Indiana cities have the most growth visa sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the overwhelming majority of growth sponsorship opportunities in Indiana, driven by its concentration of technology companies, healthcare organizations, and corporate headquarters. Bloomington sees some activity tied to Indiana University's startup ecosystem and alumni-founded companies. Fort Wayne and Carmel have a smaller but emerging presence, particularly in regional SaaS and fintech firms that have expanded hiring in recent years.
How to find growth visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter growth roles by state, including Indiana. Because sponsorship willingness is not always listed on general job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that surfaces verified sponsoring employers saves significant time. Growth roles in Indianapolis and Bloomington see the most activity, so filtering to those cities within Indiana will return the most relevant results.
Are there state-specific considerations for growth professionals seeking sponsorship in Indiana?
Indiana does not have a state-level visa or sponsorship program, so all sponsorship flows through federal categories like the H-1B. Growth roles must qualify as specialty occupations, meaning the position typically requires a directly related bachelor's degree. Indiana University and Purdue University both produce OPT-eligible talent that feeds local employer pipelines, and some Indiana employers are familiar with sponsoring graduates from these institutions into full-time growth positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
