Which technology companies in Indiana sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Indiana technology employers with documented sponsorship activity include Salesforce's Indianapolis operations, Infosys (which maintains a large technology hub in Indianapolis), Rolls-Royce's digital and aerospace engineering teams, and regional fintech firms. Defense contractor Raytheon Technologies and healthcare IT companies like Cerner's Indiana clients also appear in DOL Labor Condition Application filings. Sponsorship patterns vary by year and hiring cycle, so reviewing current LCA disclosure data gives the most accurate picture.
Which Indiana cities have the most technology H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the large majority of technology sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, technology consulting firms, and healthcare IT employers. Bloomington has a smaller but active technology sector tied to Indiana University's research and software ecosystem. Fort Wayne and Carmel see sporadic sponsorship from manufacturing technology and enterprise software employers. Remote-eligible roles posted by Indiana-headquartered companies can also appear outside these metro areas.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that regularly qualify include software engineers, full-stack developers, data engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity analysts, DevOps engineers, and machine learning specialists. The position must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related technical field is a normal requirement for entry. Generalist IT support roles or positions where any bachelor's degree is accepted regardless of field are less likely to qualify under H-1B1 visa criteria.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate indexes technology roles posted by Indiana employers with verified H-1B1 Chile sponsorship history, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface companies that have actively filed for Chilean nationals in specialty occupation positions. Filtering by state and visa type on Migrate Mate narrows results to Indiana technology employers, letting you focus on software, data, and engineering roles where H-1B1 Chile sponsorship is a documented part of the hiring process rather than an unconfirmed possibility.
Are there Indiana-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile technology sponsorship?
Indiana does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but employers must still file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before the H-1B1 application proceeds. Indiana's technology sector is heavily tied to healthcare IT, manufacturing software, and financial services, meaning prevailing wage levels set by DOL for these subsectors apply. The H-1B1 Chile category has a 1,400-visa annual allocation and does not require a lottery, which distinguishes it from the standard H-1B process that many Indiana employers are more familiar with.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile technology jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
