Which technology companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Indiana?
Indianapolis-based technology employers including Salesforce, Genesys, and Resultant have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles. Eli Lilly and Cummins both maintain large technology divisions that sponsor H-1B1 Singapore holders for software engineering and data roles. Smaller ISVs and health-tech firms in the Indianapolis metro also appear in DOL disclosure data as active H-1B1 sponsors.
Which cities in Indiana have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the majority of technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of enterprise software, health IT, and fintech employers. Bloomington has a smaller technology cluster anchored by Indiana University's research commercialization activity. Fort Wayne and Carmel host technology operations for regional employers, though sponsorship volume there is noticeably lower than in the Indianapolis metro.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that meet the H-1B1 visa specialty occupation standard require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Indiana's technology sector, qualifying positions commonly include software engineers, systems analysts, database administrators, cybersecurity analysts, cloud infrastructure engineers, and data scientists. General IT support or technician roles that do not require a bachelor's degree in a specific discipline typically do not qualify under DOL and USCIS guidance.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters technology jobs in Indiana specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, using DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data to surface employers who have filed for Singapore nationals in specialty occupation technology roles. This lets you target Indianapolis-area software and IT employers with a verified sponsorship record rather than applying broadly and discovering visa limitations later in the process.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore technology sponsorship?
Indiana has no state-level immigration restrictions affecting H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship, but employers in regulated sectors such as health IT and financial services must ensure the sponsored role meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria independent of state licensing requirements. Indiana's technology employers tend to be cost-conscious mid-market firms, so LCA prevailing wage compliance is worth verifying using the OFLC Wage Search for the specific occupation code and Indianapolis or county wage level.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
