Which companies sponsor visas for warehouse roles in Indiana?
Large logistics and e-commerce employers operating in Indiana have the most established sponsorship programs. Amazon has multiple fulfillment centers in the state, and companies like FedEx, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and Eli Lilly (for warehouse and supply chain roles) have filed Labor Condition Applications in Indiana. Sponsorship is most common for supervisory, operations management, and supply chain analyst positions rather than general labor roles.
Which visa types are most common for warehouse jobs in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for warehouse-related roles that require a bachelor's degree, such as supply chain analyst, logistics coordinator, or operations manager. These must qualify as specialty occupations. Some multinational employers transfer warehouse operations staff via the L-1 visa. General warehouse associate positions rarely qualify for sponsorship because they typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for these visa categories.
Which cities in Indiana have the most warehouse sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis and its surrounding suburbs, particularly Plainfield, Whitestown, and Greenwood, concentrate the highest volume of warehouse and distribution employment in Indiana. The I-465 and I-70 corridors are home to major fulfillment centers and third-party logistics providers. Fort Wayne and Elkhart also have notable logistics and manufacturing-adjacent warehouse operations, offering additional opportunities for candidates seeking sponsorship-eligible roles in supply chain and operations.
How to find warehouse visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international job seekers and filters warehouse roles in Indiana by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving significant research time. Beyond browsing Migrate Mate, focus your search on operations management and supply chain titles rather than general warehouse associate roles, as those positions are far more likely to qualify for H-1B visa sponsorship. Targeting employers with existing LCA filings in Indiana increases your chances of finding a genuine sponsorship opportunity.
Are there any Indiana-specific factors that affect warehouse visa sponsorship?
Indiana's position as a major Midwest logistics corridor means prevailing wage requirements for warehouse operations roles are benchmarked against a competitive regional market. Employers must pay H-1B workers the prevailing wage as determined by the Department of Labor for the specific occupation and location. Indiana does not have state-level immigration policies that differ from federal standards, but the concentration of large distribution employers in the Indianapolis metro increases the pool of companies with active sponsorship infrastructure.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored warehouse jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
