Responsibilities
- Patient interaction in-person, on my chart and on the phones
- Rooming patients
- Vitals
- Medication refills
- Medication prior authorizations
Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
- Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Possession of a current State Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
Experience
- Clinic experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred
DAYS: Tuesday with job share remaining days of week
HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
