Which companies sponsor visas for enterprise sales executives in Iowa?
Iowa's largest visa sponsors for enterprise sales roles include financial services firms like Principal Financial Group and Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Des Moines, technology companies with Midwest offices, and agricultural technology companies like Corteva Agriscience. Larger employers with established HR and legal infrastructure are significantly more likely to have active sponsorship programs than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for enterprise sales executive roles in Iowa?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for enterprise sales executives in Iowa, provided the role requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific specialty field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline. Candidates already holding L-1A or L-1B status through a multinational employer may also transfer into Iowa-based roles without entering the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in Iowa have the most enterprise sales executive sponsorship jobs?
Des Moines concentrates the largest share of enterprise sales sponsorship opportunities in Iowa, driven by its financial services, insurance, and technology sectors. Cedar Rapids offers roles tied to manufacturing, logistics, and AgTech companies. Iowa City sees some activity connected to healthcare and university-adjacent technology firms, though it operates at a smaller scale than Des Moines.
How to find enterprise sales executive visa sponsorship jobs in Iowa?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to search for enterprise sales executive positions in Iowa without sorting through employers who do not sponsor. You can narrow results by location and role type to focus on Iowa-based opportunities across sectors like financial services, AgTech, and enterprise software.
Are there any Iowa-specific considerations for enterprise sales executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Iowa employers sponsoring H-1B visas for enterprise sales executives must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the role and location, which is assessed at the county level and varies across Iowa's metro areas. Des Moines-based roles typically carry higher prevailing wage thresholds than rural or smaller-market positions. Iowa's AgTech sector is a notable hiring pipeline, particularly for candidates with technical sales experience in agriculture or life sciences.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored enterprise sales executive jobs in Iowa?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
