ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Security Intern is responsible for assisting with the implementation of enhanced security controls to protect IDT’s global IT environment.
This position reports to the IT Security Manager and is part of the IT Security Team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with various global IT teams.
- Assist with the implementation of data loss prevention controls.
- Assist with the implementation of endpoint privilege management controls.
- Participate in threat and vulnerability processes, identifying and collaborating with IT stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or similar Information Technology related discipline.
- Working knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Prior hands-on working experience in an IT related field.
COMPENSATION
The hourly range for this role is $30. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
