Which companies sponsor visas for program analysts in Kentucky?
Kentucky employers with a history of sponsoring work visas for program analysts include Humana, Kindred Healthcare, and Ashland Inc. in Louisville, along with state and federal agencies operating out of Frankfort. Defense contractors and IT consulting firms serving Fort Campbell and Fort Knox also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for program analyst roles.
Which visa types are most common for program analyst roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa category for program analysts in Kentucky, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business analytics. Multinational employees may also enter on L-1B visas, and candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most program analyst sponsorship jobs?
Louisville generates the largest share of program analyst sponsorship opportunities in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, healthcare organizations, and financial services firms. Lexington follows with demand from the University of Kentucky, Tempur Sealy, and technology employers. Frankfort produces openings tied to state government IT modernization and compliance programs.
How to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have demonstrated willingness to sponsor work visas, making it more efficient than general job searches for program analyst positions in Kentucky. Are there state-specific factors that affect program analyst visa sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky's healthcare and logistics sectors drive consistent demand for program analysts, and employers in those industries frequently work with immigration counsel familiar with LCA prevailing wage requirements for the state's metro areas. The University of Kentucky and University of Louisville also generate a pipeline of international OPT candidates transitioning to H-1B sponsorship in program analyst and related analytical roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program analyst jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
