- Be the first contact for any technical issues or questions related to production/go live status of agreed upon use cases within an account, oftentimes servicing multiple use cases within the largest and most complex organizations
- Leverage both Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services and Support resources, along with escalating to expert level technical experts to build the right tasks that are beyond your scope of activities or expertise
- Create, own and execute a point-of-view as to how key use cases can be accelerated into production, coordinating with Professional Services (PS) resources on the delivery of PS Engagement proposals
- Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews and upgrade needs
- Develop an execution plan that covers all activities of all customer-facing technical roles and teams to cover the below work streams:
- Main use cases moving from ‘win’ to production
- Enablement / user growth plan
- Product adoption (strategy and activities to increase adoption of Databricks’ Lakehouse vision)
- Organic needs for current investment (e.g. cloud cost control, tuning & optimization)
- Executive and operational governance
- Provide internal and external updates - KPI reporting on the status of usage and customer health, covering investment status, important risks, product adoption and use case progression - to your Technical GM
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Which companies sponsor visas for DevOps engineers in Louisiana?
Energy firms, hospital systems, and government contractors are the most active visa sponsors for DevOps roles in Louisiana. Entergy, Ochsner Health System, and IT services companies supporting federal contracts in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans metro areas have filed H-1B petitions for DevOps-related positions. Consulting firms with Louisiana offices, such as Accenture and Deloitte, also sponsor DevOps engineers periodically.
What visa types are most common for DevOps roles in Louisiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for DevOps engineers in Louisiana, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Australian nationals may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery. TN visa status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying computer-related roles.
Which cities in Louisiana have the most DevOps sponsorship jobs?
New Orleans and Baton Rouge account for the majority of DevOps visa sponsorship activity in Louisiana. New Orleans attracts tech-forward employers in healthcare IT, fintech, and digital services. Baton Rouge hosts state government IT agencies and petrochemical industry employers with infrastructure and cloud operations needs. Shreveport has a smaller but growing presence through healthcare networks and logistics companies.
How to find devops visa sponsorship jobs in Louisiana?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find DevOps visa sponsorship jobs in Louisiana. The platform filters specifically for employers open to visa sponsorship, so you avoid applying to roles where sponsorship is never offered. For Louisiana, focus your search on New Orleans and Baton Rouge and look for energy, healthcare, and government IT employers, which represent the state's most consistent sources of DevOps sponsorship.
Are there any state-specific considerations for DevOps engineers seeking sponsorship in Louisiana?
Louisiana's DevOps market is shaped heavily by energy and healthcare sectors rather than traditional tech industries, so DevOps engineers with experience in industrial control systems, cloud infrastructure for regulated environments, or HIPAA-compliant pipelines are well positioned. Louisiana State University and Tulane University produce local tech graduates, but employer pipelines also recruit internationally. H-1B prevailing wage requirements apply statewide and are determined by the Department of Labor based on the specific metro area.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored devops jobs in Louisiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
