- Oversee pipeline, account plans, and key pursuits; ensure high-quality proposals that address client needs and reflect AECOM’s technical excellence.

- Proven track record of winning work, supporting major pursuits, and growing public-sector planning programs.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to executive and technical audiences.
- Experienced and knowledgeable within the industry network and established client and partner relationships in the DMV market.
Preferred:

- Comprehensive knowledge of DMV transportation agencies, planning organizations, funding programs, and procurement processes.
- Existing relationships with DOTs, transit agencies, MPOs, and local jurisdictions in the region.
- Familiarity with federal and state procurement and funding programs (e.g., IIJA, FTA, FHWA) and local procurement systems and processes.
- Experience spanning multimodal corridor planning, transit and rail, active transportation, freight planning, performance-based planning, and NEPA/transportation-environmental interfaces.

Which legal companies sponsor E-3 visas in Maryland?
Maryland's E-3 legal sponsors include large regional law firms headquartered in Baltimore, federal contractors with legal compliance divisions in Bethesda and Rockville, and financial institutions with in-house counsel teams across the state. Government-adjacent organizations near Annapolis and the D.C. corridor also file Labor Condition Applications for attorneys, paralegals, and regulatory specialists. Sponsorship patterns vary by firm size and practice area, so reviewing DOL LCA disclosure data gives the clearest picture of active sponsors.
Which cities in Maryland have the most legal E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Baltimore concentrates the highest number of legal E-3 opportunities, anchored by major law firms, financial services companies, and healthcare system legal departments. The D.C. suburbs, Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Chevy Chase, host significant federal contractor legal teams and compliance functions. Annapolis sees activity tied to state government and regulatory work. Smaller markets like Columbia and Towson have emerging legal employer bases worth monitoring.
What types of legal roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that qualify for E-3 sponsorship must meet the specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Maryland's legal sector, qualifying positions commonly include attorneys, legal analysts, compliance officers, contract specialists, regulatory affairs advisors, and intellectual property specialists. Paralegal roles may qualify when the employer requires a specific legal or bachelor's-level credential. General administrative legal support roles without a degree requirement typically do not meet the specialty occupation threshold.
How do I find legal E-3 sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland's legal sector, surfacing employers with verified LCA filing history in law and compliance roles. This removes the guesswork of identifying which firms actively sponsor. You can narrow results by city, Baltimore, Bethesda, or Rockville, and by role type. Reviewing each employer's LCA history through Migrate Mate shows how frequently they sponsor and in what practice areas.
Are there Maryland-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in the legal industry?
Maryland's proximity to Washington D.C. creates a dense cluster of federal contractor and government-adjacent employers, many of whom hire for legal and compliance roles with E-3 sponsorship. Some positions, particularly those involving access to classified federal government work, may carry security clearance requirements that can complicate or restrict E-3 sponsorship eligibility. Bar admission requirements also vary: roles requiring Maryland bar licensure add a credential layer beyond the E-3 specialty occupation standard that employers and applicants must both account for.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 legal jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
