Which companies sponsor visas for compliance program managers in Massachusetts?
Financial services firms are among the most active sponsors in Massachusetts, including State Street, Fidelity Investments, and Liberty Mutual. Life sciences and biotech companies such as Biogen, Moderna, and Takeda also hire compliance program managers and have established visa sponsorship programs. Large healthcare networks including Mass General Brigham and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center sponsor for compliance roles in regulatory and quality programs as well.
Which visa types are most common for compliance program manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for compliance program managers in Massachusetts, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, finance, business, or a regulated industry discipline. Some candidates also enter through the L-1A or L-1B if transferring within a multinational employer. Candidates with extraordinary credentials may qualify for the O-1 visa. Employers in financial services and life sciences are generally familiar with all of these pathways.
How to find compliance program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship jobs and lets you filter compliance program manager roles by state, including Massachusetts. Rather than sorting through thousands of postings where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces employers actively sponsoring in this role category. Focusing your search on Boston, Cambridge, and the Route 128 corridor will return the highest volume of relevant openings in compliance and regulatory program management.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most compliance program manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston is the clear center of gravity, home to major financial institutions, hospital systems, and asset managers that regularly hire compliance program managers with visa sponsorship. Cambridge has a strong pipeline through biotech and pharmaceutical companies, particularly around Kendall Square. Waltham and Lexington along Route 128 also see consistent demand from life sciences and technology firms with active compliance functions. Worcester is a smaller but emerging market through its healthcare and academic institutions.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for compliance program manager visa sponsorship?
Massachusetts employers sponsoring H-1B workers are required to pay the prevailing wage as determined by the Department of Labor for the specific role and location. Boston's prevailing wages for compliance program managers are among the higher figures nationally, reflecting the local cost of living and competitive market. The state's heavy concentration in regulated industries like finance, biotech, and healthcare means compliance program managers here often need demonstrated knowledge of frameworks such as SEC regulations, FDA requirements, or HIPAA, which can strengthen a sponsorship case.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored compliance program manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
