We have pre-sold our first 1,000 machines to some of the most iconic brands in America, including Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom. As of November 2025, we have launched our first robot at Ulta Beauty in Everett. We are a fast growing 50+ person organization with deep robotics experience. Come join the company who will put 'beauty robotics' on the map! We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our internal IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our local networks, identity management systems, and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking protocols, hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), and a proven track record of managing vendor relationships and system integrations. You will also be the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues and maintaining a secure, observable IT environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LANs), ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Configure and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Deep understanding of core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) is essential.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Architect and administer IAM solutions to ensure secure and seamless user access. Implement and manage federated identity systems (e.g., SAML, OIDC, SSO) to integrate with various cloud and on-premise applications. Manage user lifecycles, roles, and permissions across the organization.
- Third-Party System Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for critical third-party SaaS and on-premise applications. Manage vendor relationships, oversee system updates, configure integrations, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Security & Observability: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect company data and infrastructure. Configure monitoring and logging tools to ensure system observability, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and security incidents. Manage patch management and vulnerability assessments.
- Technical Support & Helpdesk: Provide responsive Tier 2/3 technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions. Manage IT asset inventory and procurement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Proven experience with IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) and setting up federated identity (SAML, SSO).
- Experience administering and integrating third-party business systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, HRIS, CRM).
- Familiarity with security best practices and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) are a plus.

- Salary Range: $35—$50 USD
