Which companies sponsor visas for patient services managers in Massachusetts?
Mass General Brigham, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and UMass Memorial Health are among the Massachusetts health systems with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for healthcare administration roles. Academic medical centers affiliated with Harvard, Tufts, and Boston University also sponsor international candidates for patient-facing management positions with some regularity.
Which visa types are most common for patient services manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for patient services managers in Massachusetts, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as healthcare administration, public health, or nursing. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship pursue TN visa status. Those with extraordinary achievement in healthcare leadership may explore the O-1A, though it requires substantial documented recognition.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most patient services manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the largest share of patient services manager sponsorship activity in Massachusetts, driven by its concentration of academic medical centers and specialty hospitals. Worcester is a secondary hub, anchored by UMass Memorial Medical Center and Saint Vincent Hospital. Springfield, Lowell, and Cambridge also see hiring for these roles, particularly within large regional health systems and community hospital networks.
How to find patient services manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical to search for patient services manager roles in Massachusetts without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can filter by state, role type, and sponsorship status to focus your search on health systems and hospitals in Boston, Worcester, and other Massachusetts cities actively hiring for this position.
What should international candidates know about patient services manager hiring in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers sponsoring H-1B workers for patient services manager roles must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the specific location and job classification. Boston's high cost of living means prevailing wages in Suffolk County are set higher than in other parts of the state. Candidates should also note that roles requiring licensure, such as positions tied to clinical oversight, may face additional credentialing steps before sponsorship can proceed.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient services manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
