Which companies sponsor visas for patient services managers in Washington?
The largest sponsors in Washington are major integrated health systems. UW Medicine, Providence Health and Services, MultiCare Health System, and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health have all filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for healthcare operations and patient services roles. Seattle Children's and Kaiser Permanente Washington also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for sponsored administrative and clinical management positions.
Which visa types are most common for patient services manager roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common pathway, provided the role is classified as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health services management, or a related field. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify under the TN visa in the medical management category. EB-3 immigrant visas are also used by Washington health systems sponsoring full-time patient services managers for permanent roles.
Which cities in Washington have the most patient services manager sponsorship jobs?
Seattle accounts for the largest share of patient services manager openings, anchored by UW Medicine and major hospital campuses throughout King County. Tacoma is a secondary hub, driven by MultiCare Health System's regional network. Bellevue and Kirkland see demand from outpatient and specialty clinic growth on the Eastside. Spokane, in eastern Washington, has its own cluster through Providence and MultiCare's inland operations.
How to find patient services manager visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters patient services manager openings specifically to employers with a history of visa sponsorship in Washington, saving you from sorting through listings that won't support international candidates. You can browse roles by city, health system, or visa type. Because sponsorship data is sourced from Department of Labor filings, the listings reflect employers who have actively sponsored comparable positions rather than those who simply haven't ruled it out.
Are there state-specific factors that affect patient services manager sponsorship in Washington?
Washington's high concentration of academic medical centers creates stronger sponsorship infrastructure than many states, since these institutions have established immigration legal teams familiar with H-1B processes. The state also participates in WWAMI, a regional medical education consortium linking Washington to Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Wyoming, which expands the network of affiliated hospitals where patient services roles may open. Washington has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations under Department of Labor methodology.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient services manager jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
