Which companies sponsor visas for strategy managers in Massachusetts?
Large enterprises with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors for strategy manager roles in Massachusetts. Fidelity Investments, Liberty Mutual, Raytheon Technologies, Biogen, and major consulting firms operating out of Boston have each filed H-1B visa petitions for strategic planning and corporate strategy positions. Smaller biotech and fintech companies in Cambridge and Waltham also sponsor, though less frequently and with less predictable timelines.
Which visa types are most common for strategy manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for strategy manager positions in Massachusetts, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa. Those with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may be eligible under the TN visa category, which covers certain management consultants.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most strategy manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the largest share of strategy manager sponsorship activity in Massachusetts, particularly in the financial services, consulting, and healthcare sectors concentrated downtown and in the Seaport District. Cambridge is a strong secondary market given its biotech and technology employer base. Waltham and Burlington, along the Route 128 corridor, also produce sponsorship opportunities through defense contractors and enterprise software companies.
How to find strategy manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, so you can search for strategy manager roles in Massachusetts without sifting through postings that don't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers who have active sponsorship programs, which is particularly useful in Massachusetts given the concentration of large firms in Boston, Cambridge, and the Route 128 corridor that sponsor across consulting, biotech, and financial services.
Are there state-specific considerations for strategy manager visa sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts does not impose additional state-level requirements on top of federal visa sponsorship obligations, but the state's high concentration of regulated industries matters. Life sciences employers in Cambridge and financial services firms in Boston often have experienced immigration counsel and structured sponsorship processes. The Boston area's university pipeline, including Harvard, MIT, and Boston University, means many sponsored strategy managers enter through OPT before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
