In this internship you will gain valuable knowledge of working in a production sow farm. Job duties could include breeding, heat checking, farrowing, administering vaccinations, monitoring animal health and wellbeing, feeding, various daily chores, record keeping, and possible on site projects.
As time allows, research projects, and visits with other departments and personnel will take place to help expand your knowledge of the industry.
